Asbestos Awareness (Class IV)

The two hour training course is a safety program designed to meet the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.1101 Class IV Training.

If you have employees who are working in buildings older than 1980 and don’t have a building survey, your employees need to take this class. If you have employees who are working in buildings with Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) or Presumed Asbestos Containing Materials (PACM), your employees needto take this class.

This class will cover:

  • History
  • Training requirements
  • Colorado and EPA laws
  • Health Effects of Asbestos
  • Locations, Signs of Damage and Deterioration of ACM and PACM.
  • Proper Response to Fiber Release Episodes.
  • Where the Housekeeping Requirements are Found in the Standard.
